Un piccolo dettaglio può creare una considerevole differenza. Un rossetto rosso in una giornata grigia, una maxi collana sopra un semplice maglione, tacchi dodici abbinati ad uno scontato skinny e anche un bacio inaspettato può cambiare drasticamente il corso della nostra giornata. Parlando di stile, per dare un tocco romantico e femminile, ( caratteristiche molto evidenti nel mio marchio omonimo) niente di meglio di nastri per legare i capelli a diverse altezze per realizzare fiocchi semplici, ma di grande effetto.

The famous hair stylist and makeup artist of the Brazilian covers, Marco Antonio de Biaggi, posted a picture of a model with this “pearl” having a beautiful color. It is a red to a cherry pink called “Pink” by the company Hot Makeup. Do you like it?

IDRATARE IL VISO (HYDRATING FACE)
Prima di truccarsi occore innanzitutto idratare il viso. Consiglio un buon siero a base di acido ialuronico (per chi ha la pelle tendente a secca) oppure una lozione opacizante, come nel caso della foto una lozione a base di tè verde di The Body Shop (adoro!), adatta a pelli miste o grasse.

Before applying make-up first you must hydrate your face. Recommend a based hyaluronic acid good serum (for those who have skin that tends to dry) or a lotion opacizante, as in the case of a photo a green tea based lotion of The Body Shop (I love!), suitable for mixed skins or fat ones.
IDRATARE LE LABBRA (HYDRATING LIPS)
Il secondo passo è dedicarsi alle labbra che, ben idratate, fisserano meglio il rossetto e con il plus di avere un effetto più bello, senza le sgradevole screpolature che nell’inverno sono ancora più evidenti. Un filler con acido ialuronico o un burro cacao a base di burro di karitè sono un’ottima arma per combattere le conseguenze del freddo sulle labbra.

The second step is to dedicate to the lips which, well hydrated, will fix better lipstick and with the “plus” of having a more beautiful effect, without the ugly cracks that are even more evident during the winter. A filler with hyaluronic acid or a cocoa butter made with shea butter is an excellent weapon to combat the effects of cold on the lips.
PENNELLO PER IL FONDOTINTA (BRUSH FOR FOUNDATION)
Per applicare il fondotinta può essere interessante provare il pennello in questo formato piatto e non tondo. IL PLUS: le fibre in diverse lunghezze che garantiscono una distribuzione del prodotto più precisa e efficace (arrivando anche agli angoli), senza l’effetto “graffi” nel fondotinta.

CIPRIA COMPATTA (COMPACT POWDER)
Di giorno evito applicare il fondotinta fluido. Ho trovato due prodotti che trovo davvero fantastici per un trucco leggero, pratico e veloce. Il primo è il Mat Lumiere di Chanel, un fondotinta vellutato compatto cipriato e opacizzante. PLUS: ha un livello di copertura e consistenza incredibili; l’altro compatto è lo Studio Fix della M.A.C, ha una consistenza che rende l’applicazione più difficile del primo prodotto, ma l’effetto è molto naturale.

By day I avoid apply foudation fluid. I found two products that I find really great for a light makeup, practical and fast. The first is the Mat Lumiere by Chanel, a foundation velvety powdery compact and opaque. PLUS: it has an incredible level of coverage and consistency, the other one compact is the Studio Fix By MAC, it has a consistency that makes the application more difficult than the first product, but the effect is very natural.
BLUSH – FARD
Per dare un pò di colore al viso, uso basicamente due possibilità. Invece del solito blush, per avere un risultato molto naturale uso il Vitalumière Eclat di Chanel, un fondotinta cipriato il cui colore ho sbagliato a scegliere il colore (è qualche tonalità più scura del colore indicato per la mia pelle) e che l’ho trasformato in fard. La seconda opzione, è un fard M.A.C di tonalità tendente più al rosa che al carne. Per questo uso anche in occasioni più eleganti, che richiedono un dress code più importante.

To give more color to the face, I use two options. Instead of the usual blush, to have a very natural result I use the Vitalumière Eclat by Chanel, a powdery foundation whose color I wrongly chose (it’s a few shades darker than the color shown on my skin) and turned it in blush. The second option is a MAC blush with a color more tending more to pink than to meat. For this I use also in more elegant occasions, that require a dress code more important.
DOMARE LE SOPRACCIGLIA (TAMING EYEBROWS)
Le sopracciglia meritano totale attenzione perchè possono cambiare completamente lo sguardo. Avendo le sopracciglia folte uso un gel mascara per pettinarle e “domarle”. PLUS: se volete un “power fissaggio” delle sopracciglia basta prendere il pettinino del gel mascara o di un mascara qualsiasi, applicare un po’ di lacca e poi pettinare le sopracciglie.

The eyebrows deserve full attention because they can completely change the look. Having bushy eyebrows I use a mascara in gel to comb and “tame” them. PLUS: If you want a “power fixing” of your eyebrows just take the comb of the gel mascara or of any other mascara, apply a little ‘hairspray and then comb the eyebrows.
“APRIRE LO SGUARDO” (OPENING LOOK)
Uno dei miei prodotti al cuore, la cui scoperta mi ha (quasi) cambiato la vita è il “High Brow” da Benefit. Una matita perlata da applicare nella palpebra superiore (sotto le sopracciglia). PLUS: è facile da applicare ed è un’ottima strategia per “aprire lo sguardo”.

One of my favourite products, the discovery of which (almost) changed my life, is the “High Brow” by Benefit. A pencil pearl to be applied in the upper eyelid (under the eyebrows). PLUS: It is easy to apply and is an excellent strategy to “open the eyes”.
ILLUMINARE (LIGHTING)
Per illuminare il viso e dare un bellissimo tocco veludato ho scelto Lumiere Sculptée di Chanel. Una cipria color avorio rosato madreperlato. PLUS: applicare questa sottile polvere con discreti tocchi di luce sugli zigomi, sulla fronte o sul mento, per sottolinearne il volume.

To illuminate the face and give a beautiful a velvety touch I chose Lumiere Sculptée by Chanel. A powder in an ivory color pinked and pearl. PLUS: Apply this thin dust with discreet touches of light on the cheekbones, on the forehead or chin, to emphasize the volume.
PLUS: se volete applicare un illuminante nell’angolo interno dell’occhio, il pennello (piatto e con le fibre uguali) sopra a sinistra è la maniera più facile e adatta per raggiungere questo fine con il miglior risultato possibile.

PLUS: If you want to apply highlighter to the inner corner of the eye, the brush (flat and with the same fibers) on the left is the easiest way to achieve it and fits with the best possible result.
PENNELLI FONDAMENTALI (BASIC BRUSHES)
Se non siete esperte di trucco (come me) e non avete idea di come iniziare a scegliere i pennelli adatti potete provare ad iniziare con questa borsetta Chanel e i suoi piccoli pennelli. PLUS: i pennelli essenziali aiutano nella scelta per un trucco ultra fast e la misura “pocket” è perfetta per portarli sempre in borsa.

Quanto agli ombretti, preferisco sempre i colori neutri tendenti al marrone, dorato e grigio-argentato, sono facili da abbinare nelle diverse occasioni.

MASCARA E PIEGA CIGLIA ELLETRICO (HEATED EYELASH CURLER)
Io praticamente “bevo” mascara. Avendo poche ciglie, adoro notare su di me l’effetto quasi miracoloso di alcuni di questi prodotti, ma ammetto che non è facile trovare un mascara che mi renda soddisfatta. Siccome in tante parlano di “They’re Real” della Benefit non ho resistito e l’ho acquistato alimentata da grandi speranze. Invece sono rimasta totalmente delusa. Non intendo ricomprarlo. L’ultimo arrivato tra i miei trucchi è il “High impact extreme volume mascara” della Clinique, ho usato una sola volta ed è stato sufficiente per notare che non è valido sulle mie ciglie. Bocciato. Intendo tornare al mio “vecchio amore”, YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils. Per me non c’è uguale! Molto validi anche sono i due mascara Kiko: “Luxurious Lashes” e “Unforgettable”, regalano un volume interessante e una lunghezza discretta.
PLUS: Da inserire nella wish list questo piega ciglia elletrico (foto sotto). E’ un piega ciglia che funziona come una piastra. Dopo che si passa il mascara si accende il piega ciglia lasciandolo scaldare per un minuto. Dopo si passa sulle ciglie facendo movimenti dalla base (non troppo vicino alla pelle) alle punte.

I virtually “drink” mascara. Having a few lashes, I love note on me the almost miraculous effect of some of these products, but I admit that it is not easy to find a mascara that makes me happy. As in so many speak about “They’re Real” by Benefit I didn’t resist and I bought fueled by high hopes. Instead, I was totally disappointed. I do not intend to buy it again. The newest member of my make up products is the “High Impact mascara extreme volume” by Clinique, I used it only once and that was enough to note that it is not valid on my lashes. Rejected. I intend to go back to my “old love”, YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils. For me there is no equal! Very valid also are the two mascara Kiko: “Luxurious Lashes” and “Unforgettable”, offer an interesting volume and a discreet length.
PLUS: Add to the wish list this Heated Eyelash Curler (photo below). It works like a plate. After you pass mascara you turn on the Heated Eyelash Curler, leaving it for a minute. Afterwards you pass it on the lashes by movements from the base (not too close to the skin) to the tips.
ROSSETTI (LIPSTICKS)
Questi sono i rossetti e lipgloss che uso di più. In genere scelgo colori più spenti per il giorno e i “rosso fuoco” per la notte. Tra le new entries mi piace molto il “Rouge Coco 79 Plumetis” di Chanel (sotto a sinistra) e il lipgloss master “Juicy Tubes-Melon” di Lancome.

These are the lipstickS and lipglosses I mostly use. Typically I choose duller colors for the day and “red fire” for the night. Among the new entries I really like the “Rouge Coco 79 Plumetis” by Chanel (below to the left) and the lipgloss master “Juicy Tubes-Melon” by Lancome.
